Julie Perry – Founder
My name is Julie Perry. I have lived in Pahrump for over 25 years. I grew up on the West Coast, Married my high school sweetheart, and we are currently raising two beautiful children. I learned to sew when I was 12 with my mother. She said One day you are going to need to be able to do this. So Thankful for her love and guidance. Today I am using those skills with “One Mask at a Time”. A Non-Profit that came about during this years Corona-19 Pandemic. I truly saw a need and had a vision of a community of Seamstress’s coming together to fill that need! Humbly proud to be able to do so!

Wendy Secord – Admin
My name is Wendy Secord. I have lived in the Beatty Pahrump area for over 20 years. I was born and raised in Michigan where my mom taught me how to sew at the young age of 8. I’ve been married for almost 21 years. We are currently raising our daughter, which is immune compromised. This is the main reason that I started making masks. To protect my miracle child! I was asked by Julie to join her cause right from the beginning and I excitedly accepted. During the first 2 to 3 weeks, I have made over 425 masks to help my local community and people afar. I will continue to make masks for One Mask at a Time for as long as I’m needed.
